Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the food and water last for two people?

The kit provides 72 hours of sustenance for two people with 18 food bars at 400 calories each and 12 water pouches at 4 ounces each, plus 20 water purification tablets and two 1-liter hydration bags for sourcing additional water. All food and water items have a 5-year shelf life.

Where should I store this 2 person kit?

The dry bag is well suited for damp environments, boats, basements, coastal homes, and vehicles. The waterproof seal protects contents from humidity and rain. Store in a cool area and check expiration dates annually. The roll-top closure compresses the bag for tight storage spaces.

Can I customize or add items to this kit?

Yes. The dry bag has room for personal additions like medications, documents, and extra clothing for both people. Everything you add receives waterproof protection. Consider adding a more comprehensive first aid kit, a water filter, or additional food bars to enhance the base kit as your budget allows.

What is the difference between Comfort, Essential, and Necessity tiers?

The Necessity tier covers basic survival needs at the lowest cost. It includes a small bandage kit, basic hygiene supplies (tissues, wet wipes, face masks), and fewer tools compared to higher tiers. It does not include a pocket knife, work gloves, nylon rope, safety goggles, sewing kit, tube tent, sleeping bags, or 30+ hour candle. The Essential tier adds more tools and a deluxe hygiene kit, while the Comfort tier provides the most comprehensive loadout including a deluxe first aid kit with over 100 pieces.
