CPR Supplies

Cardiac emergencies can happen anywhere — at home, at work, in public. CPR supplies like pocket masks and face shields make it safer and more effective for trained bystanders to provide rescue breathing alongside chest compressions.

What CPR supplies should you carry?

• Pocket CPR mask — creates a barrier between responder and patient, includes a one-way valve
• Face shield — ultra-compact barrier for keychain or wallet carry
• Nitrile gloves — protect against bloodborne pathogens

Do you need training to use CPR supplies?

CPR training is strongly recommended. The American Heart Association and Red Cross offer in-person and online courses. However, in a cardiac emergency, even untrained bystanders can perform hands-only CPR (chest compressions without rescue breathing) — and any attempt is better than no attempt.
